Our Approach to Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal. Every treatment works by delivering precise energy to the base of the hair follicle, stopping future growth at the source.

We tailor the modality used to your skin, hair type, and treatment area—ensuring results that are both effective and gentle.

Modalities We Offer

Thermolysis (Shortwave)

Best for:
Fine to medium hair, larger areas, and clients who want faster sessions.

Thermolysis uses a high-frequency current to generate heat within the follicle, quickly destroying the hair growth cells. It’s the fastest modality, making it ideal for areas like the legs, arms, or dense facial growth where efficiency matters.

Why clients love it:

  • Quick and efficient

  • Comfortable for most clients

  • Ideal for high-volume clearing

Galvanic (Electrolysis)

Best for:
Coarse, stubborn, or distorted hairs.

Galvanic electrolysis uses a chemical reaction within the follicle to gradually break down the growth cells. While slower, it’s extremely effective for deep, resilient hairs that may not respond as well to faster methods.

Why clients choose it:

  • Highly precise and thorough

  • Effective on resistant hair

  • Ideal for challenging cases

Blend Method

Best for:
Coarse hair, hormonal growth (chin/jawline), and sensitive areas.

The blend combines both heat (thermolysis) and chemical action (galvanic) to maximize effectiveness. This dual approach allows us to treat even the most stubborn follicles with greater accuracy and comfort.

Why it’s often recommended:

  • Most versatile and effective method

  • Excellent for hormonal or dense growth

  • Balanced approach: speed + precision

Note that any personalized treatment plan may include a combination of modalities depending on the needs of specific areas of the body, hair types, tolerance, etc.
